Work Together In Harmony - Okoro charges Ofagbe



Sons and Daughters of Ofagbe Kingdom have been admonished to work together in harmony and peace.


Special Adviser to Delta State Governor on Rural and Community Development, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Okoro, made this statement while addressing the three (3) Ofagbe Councilorship Aspirants, in a meeting with the Stakeholders, at Asaba.


"First, I thank God for the grace done us to be among the living and also to be present in this meeting. If not by the grace of God, we wouldn't have been here and knowing that, we have to be in oneness and work together in peace and harmony."


"Lawrence Abarosah, Utoware Endurance and Aki Oromena, Ofagbe Councilorship position do not call for enemity or malice against one another. Three of you are illustrious Sons of Ofagbe Kingdom and the spirit of oneness should be among you people, by accepting today's result and working together for the party's victory on March 6th election."


"As Christians, we should believe that whosoever emerge the winner to represent us, is the will of God and even if it is not his will, God in his infinite wisdom knows why he allowed it to happen. By so doing, let us accept everything in good faith."


Rt. Hon. Okoro, haven made everyone to understand the main reason for this year's format of electing a Councilor, allowed the process to take place and there was a winner.


He went further by announcing the winner to be Comr. Lawrence Abarosah, who was peacefully nominated by the whole house to represent Ofagbe Ward 04 under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), at the Isoko North Local Government Council in the forthcoming LGA election.


Comr. Utoware Endurance came third with Zero (0) vote, Mr Aki Oromena took second with Four (4) votes, while Comrade Lawrence Abarosah emerged the winner with a total of Eight  (8) votes.
