The General Overseer of Bethesda Gospel Mission International, Archbishop Dr. Christian Aggrey Ovwoma Apena JP††, close to tears, tells the story of how the Isoko people would have been more favoured in God's work and politics in general, if they were to be their brother's keepers and diligently serving God.

He sued for peaceful coexistence among the Isoko people, noting that in peaceful atmosphere our desired results as a nation can be achieved.

The call as contained in a live chat with officials of Raw Reporters, in Irri, the Church headquarters on Friday, October 8, 2021, Archbishop Apena said peace must be embraced by all to allow fast paced development in the land.

He urged the Isokos and indeed Nigerians to remain supportive to one another, and be more fervent in prayers to God and also to hold their selves as brothers and sisters, to bound well for the trying times which may lie in the proceedings of the time.

According to him, “As children of God that we are, It dictates the need to understand our selves, as well as our neighbours. This understanding must be build on the foundation of peace, as it is only in an atmosphere of peace that we can easily achieve our desired results”, Apena stressed.
