Okoro, a master strategist and an iconic, political pathfinder @61 – Spokesman

Comrade Oku Ozieoghene Victory, a Special Assistant on Media to Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Okoro, PhD (Pioneer Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and Special Adviser to Governor Okowa on Rural and Community Development), has described the Pioneer Speaker as an iconic political pathfinder, impeccable leader, model and an amiable man with the fear of God.

Comrade Victory Oku, who made this  known in a statement on Saturday in Asaba, to celebrate his boss's 61st birth anniversary, said that the Special Adviser was a distinguished patriot and man of legendary fidelity, who had through his nationally-acknowledged integrity and strong drive for an equitable, just and egalitarian society, became Delta First Speaker and Nigeria's youngest Speaker in his time, hence becoming a respectable voice in Nigeria’s polity.

He extolled Rt. Hon. Dr. Okoro for his remarkable resourcefulness and discernable contributions to the growth and development of Delta State and Nigeria at large.

The newsman, media influencer and Publisher/Editor-In-Chief at Raw Reporters, particularly remarked that the State First Assembly in it's twenty-two months of existence under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Okoro, passed eleven Bills, of which eight received the Governor's assent.

Stressing on the leadership of the State First Assembly, Mr Victory said, “Rt. Hon. Emma Okoro in his time as a Speaker was never impeached, notwithstanding how it were then. Under his nose, the house also received a total of two hundred and twenty motions, out of which two hundred and nine resolutions were passed. His place in the history of Delta State can never be erased by the grace of God”.

According to him, Dr. Okoro is celebrating 61 years of outstanding accomplishments and urge him to remain steadfast in his benevolence, which is his sobriquet to humanity and in helping the Governor Okowa's led administration in the course of building a Stronger Delta for Deltans.

“It’s indeed a celebration of many years of God's faithfulness and a potpourri of distinguished achievements.

“From the creation of Delta State, you served Deltans as Pioneer Speaker, precisely from 30th January, 1992 to 17th November, 1993; with great compassion, pure heart and have courageously and consistently continued to lead with good examples.

“As a man of impeccable character and immense fidelity, you have always walked your talks, making your word and bond. As a father, you have continued to teach me to be contented with such things that God has blessed me with and to rely on him for more according to his will. You're a man after God's heart and a blessing to my today and the near future by God's grace and power.

“As a leader of inestimable value, father and role model, you have impacted hugely on your family, Delta State and Nigerians.

“It is my prayer that Jehovah the Almighty God will continue to grant you good health, wisdom and grace in your avowed commitment to the well-being of your people.

“I join your family, friends and associates in celebrating and praying for you, a great child of God, on this joyful day of your birth anniversary, and for the Lord to strengthen you as you continue to serve him and humanity,” Comrade Oku said.
