Okoro Congratulates Iteire, Abarosah at the swearing in of the 20 councillors of Isoko North Local Government Council.


...Calls for total fear of God in representation.


The Special Adviser to Delta State Governor on Rural and Community Development, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Okoro, has congratulated the  Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Council, Hon. Deacon Christian Othuke Iteire and the Councilor representing Ofagbe Ward 04 at the Council, Hon. Lawrence Ogheneweware Abarosah, on their victory at the just concluded Local government election and successful swearing-in.


Rt. Hon. Okoro, who is the Pioneer Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, congratulated them with a call on them to represent the good people of Isoko North and Ofagbe with the fear of God.


In a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Media, Comrade Oku Victory, in Asaba, Hon. Okoro urged the Chairman particularly to ensure the general development and  wellbeing of the rural populace, adding that local government administration the agent of rural communities development. He advise them to shun violence and division, by ensuring inclusive governance.


The statement reads; "My distinguished Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Council, Hon. Christian Iteire, I wish to once again congratulate you and your Councilors, particularly my very own Councilor representing Ofagbe Ward 04, Hon. Lawrence Abarosah on the resounding victory at the just concluded LG polls and successful swearing-in."


"It is of great importance that I should advice you and your councilors to ensure an inclusive governance for our people, as it is the only way that bring peace, unity and development ".


"Again, it would afford us a very great reward if you and your team lead with the fear of God. Please always put God first in all you do as you have  started  in order for you  to end well."


"I wish you all a successful tenure in office, even as I pray God Almighty to be your guide", Okoro said.
