Delta Pioneer Speaker, Okoro Congratulates Edith Okowa @60


The Pioneer Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Okoro, has felicitated with Wife of Governor Okowa and Delta First Lady, Her Excellency, Dame Edith Okowa, on the occasion of her 60th birth anniversary.


In his congratulatory message, Rt. Hon. Okoro appreciated God Almighty for all his goodness and mercies in the life of Governor Okowa and His amiable wife.


He commended Her Excellency, Dame Edith Okowa, for her sense of order, diligence and commitment in serving Deltans for the past six years in office, describing her as a pillar behind Governor Okowa's success in serving Deltans and building a Stronger Delta.


His statement reads “I Join Deltans and our Road Master to celebrate the mother of the State, Her Excellency, Dame Edith Okowa, on the occasion of her 60th birth anniversary.


“Mama Delta, you've added more value and no doubt the success the Governor has achieved could not be taken from you. Beside any successful man is a good woman.


“As I celebrate God's goodness in your life, so I prayer he continue to bless and elevate you for greater services to mankind.”

Governor Okowa's EA, Onisuru Salami to bury Mother September 16

By Raw Reporters The burial ceremony of late Mrs. Queen Salami (Sisi, Nime), mother of the Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Rural and Community Development, Chief Onisuru Odiriverere Salami, has been scheduled to hold on Friday, September 16, 2022. According to the statement released by the son of the deceased, Chief Onisuru Odiriverere Salami, there would be a Service of Songs on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Chief Salami Ajakaye Compound, Urhuoka - Abraka, by 4:00 pm. The Funeral Service is to be held the next day, Friday, September 16, 2022 by 10:00am prompt, at the Campus 1 Field, Delta State University, Abraka and it will be anchored by the First Baptist Church, Urhuoka - Abraka. The reception/entertainment of guests would follow immediately at the same venue, Delta State University Abraka, Campus 1 Field.
