Sologidi lauds Okowa’s contribution to peace, development in Delta

Special Assistant to the Governor on Community Matters, Hon. Frank Sologidi, has commended His boss and Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for his contributions to peace and development across the state.


Hon Sologidi gave the commendation on Tuesday while addressing newsmen at Asaba, on the Governor's impact so far in the state.


The Bomadi LGA politician commended Deltans for sustaining the peace in the state which, he noted, had enabled the governor to carry out developmental projects in the nooks and crannies of the state.

 

He said “I must commend Governor Okowa sincerely because when you come to Asaba, if you are away for about two to three months when you come you will see quite a lot of changes and development.


“I want to congratulate the Governor for the good work he is doing and also for the peace in the state.

 

“It is necessary that for any progress to be made there must be peace so I must thank the people of Delta for keeping the peace and allowing the Governor to do what he is doing in terms of development and so on.”


On the part of 2023 general election, Hon. Sologidi calls for synergy among the Gubernatorial, Senatorial and other assembly Aspirants in the state, so as to dialogue amicably in order not to bring problem to the state, stressing that Delta remains a peaceful State in Nigeria. 


Going further, He advised all youths on areas of being registered voters and to desist being wrongly used in the forthcoming general election.

Governor Okowa's EA, Onisuru Salami to bury Mother September 16

By Raw Reporters The burial ceremony of late Mrs. Queen Salami (Sisi, Nime), mother of the Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Rural and Community Development, Chief Onisuru Odiriverere Salami, has been scheduled to hold on Friday, September 16, 2022. According to the statement released by the son of the deceased, Chief Onisuru Odiriverere Salami, there would be a Service of Songs on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Chief Salami Ajakaye Compound, Urhuoka - Abraka, by 4:00 pm. The Funeral Service is to be held the next day, Friday, September 16, 2022 by 10:00am prompt, at the Campus 1 Field, Delta State University, Abraka and it will be anchored by the First Baptist Church, Urhuoka - Abraka. The reception/entertainment of guests would follow immediately at the same venue, Delta State University Abraka, Campus 1 Field.
