...Sue for peace in Bomadi LGA and Environs
Special Assistant to Delta State Governor on Community Development, Hon. Frank Sologidi, has condemned attacks on vigilante groups, vandalization and destructions of properties in Bomadi Local Government Area of the State, by suspected cult groups in the area.
Hon. Frank Sologidi, in his reaction towards the attacks on indigenes and vandalization of the properties, on Tuesday, said the act is totally unacceptable and condemnable.
His words: “Destruction of private and public properties is an attempt to send us back to where we are coming from as a people of Bomadi.
“We have been crying for Infrastructures, and the little ones we have in our various locality shouldn't be destroyed by those who thinks they are fighting individuals and the government.
“The incumbent administration of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has by the grace of God, tried so much to bring development to our area, so let us not spoil the good name of this administration. Whatever we have destroyed is a step backward and may end up hurting our very selves.
“I therefore call on the intervention of security operatives to dive into this matter and ensure there's peace in our land, even as I beg all our youths to use their common sense never to allow miscreants to destroy the collective efforts of the generality.
“We must let peace reign and peace is what we as people of Bomadi must represent”, he concluded.
