Okowa endeared himself to Deltans through massive projects - Raw Reporters
...says Okowa's shoes would be hard to wear ahead of 2023

The shoes of replacing Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as the Governor of Delta State in the forthcoming 2023 general election has been described as a very difficult shoe to wear and a big task to fulfill.
Speaking on politics at a TV Quest program in Delta Broadcasting Service Asaba on Tuesday, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural and Community Development, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Okoro, PhD, noted that the incumbent Governor, Senator Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa has entrenched himself to Deltans through the programmes and policies of his led administration, that has brought massive development in every sector across all nooks and crannies of the state.
He advised Deltans to be calm ahead of the 2023 general election and look up to God Almighty who gives power to whoever He wants as the next Governor of the state.
"Of a truth, the shoes of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa would be very difficult to wear, except you understand the man, Okowa.
"Okowa has so entrenched himself to the people of Delta State through his massive infrastructural development in every sector across the state ".
"Whoever that is going to replace our Distinguished Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa must be somebody that possess the fear of God and understand the socio-economic and political feelings of Deltans as Okowa is currently attached to. Governorship is an institution that has to be managed by a peculiar person who possesses the qualities of good leadership.
"Yes, there are so many aspirants clamouring to be the next Governor, but we should put it our mind that it's only God Almighty that gives power and uses men to do so. I am therefore advising all aspirants and indeed the entire state to remain calm and follow the footsteps of our amiable Governor ahead of the 2023 general elections.
"If you watch very well the happenings of the state today, Governor Okowa is working as if 2023 will not come. He is so moderated, focus, meticulous , kind and not even feeling if there's going to be another Governor after him because he has promised to work to the end of his tenure.
"So, whoever that's is going to take over from him must be somebody led by the spirit of God in order to achieve and surmount what Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has done in the state", Okoro said.
Answering questions in regards to the 'PDP Rescue Mission' to occupy the presidency seat, Rt. Hon. Emma Okoro, who doubles as Pioneer Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly noted that there's need for Nigerians to vote PDP back to power in order to bring back the glory days of the nation.
"On the side of voting PDP to occupy the seat of Nigeria's number one citizen, it is very clear to the blind and the deaf that Nigeria is sinking due to bad leadership.
"Before 2015 when PDP was in power, things were not as bad as it is currently worse due to the APC led federal government.
"So, when PDP said they're coming to rescue Nigeria, it's an obvious saying because Nigerians are tired of APC and its bad leadership.
"By the grace of God, It's only the PDP that can rescue the country because the party engaged men and women that are competent in their field of specialisation and takes good governance as their sole objective.
"I think Nigerians are just waiting for the bell to be rang by INEC and I want to assure everyone that PDP will truly rescue Nigeria to a level where everybody would testify by the grace of God."
