Delta PDP Guber Primary - Okoro congratulates Oborevwori on victory

The Pioneer Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural and Community Development, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Okoro, Ph.D, on Wednesday, congratulated the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori on his landslide victory and emergence as the 2023 Governorship flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State.


In a congratulatory message issued by his Special Assistant on Media, Comrade Oku Victory, in Asaba, Rt. Hon. Okoro stated that Sheriff emerged through a very free and transparent election process with a total vote of 590.


He appreciated other aspirants that contested for accepting the outcome of the election and urged them to give their total support for the party's candidate in the upcoming general election in 2023. 


Dr Okoro extended his appreciation to Governor Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa on the successful conduct of the just concluded party primaries across the state, stressing that the Governor kept his promise to Deltans.


"I give all Glory to Jehovah God Almighty and his beloved son Jesus Christ, for his manifold blessings on us and for this resounding victory granted us, Deltans, before congratulating my brother and Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on his resounding victory at the just concluded PDP Gubernatorial primary.


"My felicitation also goes to our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), our delegates and teaming supporters for this well deserved victory. It's a bright and beautiful victory for all.


"I won't fail to commend all other aspirants who fought to the end. You all have shown love for our great party by accepting the outcome of the election, and I appeal for us to continue working together as one family that we're, so as to finish what we have started in 2023.


"Haven organized a level playing ground for all aspriants, and haven successfully conducted a free, fair and transparent primary election, our promise keeping Governor, His Excellency, Senator Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa has continued in keeping his promises to Deltans, and we appreciate his leadership competence.


"From this victory and as I have always known, it is clear and safe to say that God Almighty own all powers and decides whom he freely gives it to."

Governor Okowa's EA, Onisuru Salami to bury Mother September 16

By Raw Reporters The burial ceremony of late Mrs. Queen Salami (Sisi, Nime), mother of the Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Rural and Community Development, Chief Onisuru Odiriverere Salami, has been scheduled to hold on Friday, September 16, 2022. According to the statement released by the son of the deceased, Chief Onisuru Odiriverere Salami, there would be a Service of Songs on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Chief Salami Ajakaye Compound, Urhuoka - Abraka, by 4:00 pm. The Funeral Service is to be held the next day, Friday, September 16, 2022 by 10:00am prompt, at the Campus 1 Field, Delta State University, Abraka and it will be anchored by the First Baptist Church, Urhuoka - Abraka. The reception/entertainment of guests would follow immediately at the same venue, Delta State University Abraka, Campus 1 Field.
