Atiku/Okowa ticket portends good governance - Okoro

 

...says PDP will reconcile with aggrieved members at the appropriate time

Pioneer Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural and Community Development, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Okoro, Ph.D, has stated that the ticket of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the 2023 general election is of great benefit to Nigerians, noting that it portends good governance.


Dr. Okoro, disclosed this while speaking extensively on politics in the Morning Ride show of the Delta Broadcasting Service (DBS) Asaba, on Thursday.


He noted that the good leadership being experienced in the Governor Okowa's led administration in Delta State would be extended to the federal level once the administration of His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar emerge in 2023.


Dr. Emma Okoro, however stressed that His Excellency, Senator Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, has through his developmental policies and programs across Delta entrenched himself to Deltans, hence his choice as the PDP Vice Presidential candidate a good omen to the nation.


He enjoined all well-meaning Nigerians to support the Atiku/Okowa ticket, saying that; "Both Atiku and Okowa are level-headed and ready to rescue Nigeria


Fielding questions on the internal crises of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), amounting from the party's primaries to the selection of running mates, Rt. Hon. Dr. Emmanuel Okoro, noted that the build-up of the party ahead of the 2023 general election is unbeatable, saying; "the PDP is very ready to bring back good leadership and will definitely reconcile all disputes with aggrieved members at the appropriate time".


Briefly speaking on the forthcoming Saturday's Osun governorship election, Dr. Okoro forsees victory for the PDP and its candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke.

Governor Okowa's EA, Onisuru Salami to bury Mother September 16

According to the statement released by the son of the deceased, Chief Onisuru Odiriverere Salami, there would be a Service of Songs on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Chief Salami Ajakaye Compound, Urhuoka - Abraka, by 4:00 pm. The Funeral Service is to be held the next day, Friday, September 16, 2022 by 10:00am prompt, at the Campus 1 Field, Delta State University, Abraka and it will be anchored by the First Baptist Church, Urhuoka - Abraka. The reception/entertainment of guests would follow immediately at the same venue, Delta State University Abraka, Campus 1 Field.
